Suicide affects people in various ways. While it’s all about losing a loved one in most cases, for others, it’s the entire experience of attempting to end their lives.
With the impact of suicide, Suicide Prevention Australia is hosting an event in 2020. It’s called National Suicide Prevention Conference. It aims to generate opportunities for everyone to network, collaborate, share, and lear new approaches to suicide prevention.
About Suicide Prevention Australia
Suicide Prevention Australia is the country’s go-to sector when it comes to suicide prevention. They collaborate, support, and promote the meaningful suicide reduction in the country.
This body is committed to driving and making improvements in the suicide prevention policy to further achieve better results for Australians. They create platforms and solutions that aim to effectively and sustainably reduce the suicide rates in the country.
About the Conference
The National Suicide Prevention Conference is a yearly event that attracts over 650 local and international delegates. It is the time of the year when people from different sectors come together to network and exchange ideas to help the Suicide Prevention Australia organisation to move forward and achieve its goal of reducing the suicide rate in the country.
The main goal of the conference is to facilitate collaboration to achieve a common goal: a world without suicide.
This event’s theme is, “One Voice – One Vision” and it will highlight different evidence-based solutions and community-led innovations. At the end of the conference, delegates should be inspired to share their voices and work together to reduce the country’s suicide rate.
